Always maintain an impeccable appearance.

Never practice or permit discrimination of any type.


Guest Relations

Listen to guests with an attentive ear
Return all calls in a timely manner, always follow up
Always thank guests if they remember you in some way, Send thank you notes when needed
Never call guests on first names and always appear professional
Never double book restaurants for guests
Tactfully decline unethical of illegal requests from guests
Never promise a guest if you are not sure you if you can deliver. Remember (if you can’t, someone else in Africanect can.)
Always provide guests with written confirmations of their requests
Always tell guest if their seats at a certain event will be poor or partially obstructed.


Service Provider Relations

Never accept goods or favors from service providers
Always use reputable businesses
Exercise an independent judgement when evaluating service providers or restaurants
Never take advantage of restaurants when invited by choosing the most expensive foods on the menus and bringing uninvited guests along
Remember when invited to events or shows, you are an ambassador of your hotel and Africanect
Always thank your host before you depart and send a gift or a letter of appreciation.


What services does a Concierge deliver in a hotel?

The Concierge and his staff will often be asked about a variety of subjects including banks, bars, clubs, chambers of commerce, animal hospitals, language interpreters, hairdressers (inhouse and mobile) Church services, international time zones, sight seeing, Shopping...
We offer accurate information and aid to any guest concerning maters like hotel facilities, functions and transportation systems. We also control the delivery of mail, messages and parcels, with the goal of giving the guest the best experience.
